Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Engineering
• Design integrated power and energy systems that meet technical and financial requirements
• Perform modeling and engineering analysis to validate system performance
• Develop project scope definitions, equipment specifications and supporting technical documentation
• Conduct value engineering to optimize system cost, performance and reliability
• Ensure solutions comply with relevant engineering standards and customer specifications
Customer Engagement & Technical Sales Support
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs, operational constraints and project objectives
• Conduct site visits and technical assessments to inform system design
• Present technical solutions to stakeholders including engineering teams, facility leadership and executive decision-makers
• Address technical questions and provide support throughout the sales process
• Translate complex engineering concepts into clear business value for non-technical audiences
Proposal Development & Commercial Support
• Develop detailed technical proposals supporting competitive opportunities
• Collaborate with sales teams to define solution strategies and positioning
• Define project budgets, schedules and resource requirements

• Support contract discussions by providing technical clarification and documentation

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in technical design, applications engineering or pre-sales engineering within energy systems, industrial infrastructure or other complex technical environments
• Strong technical foundation with ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
• Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar design platforms
• Experience preparing technical proposals and customer-facing documentation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly
• Strong analytical thinking and system-level problem solving skills
• Understanding of project economics and business drivers
• Willingness to travel approximately 30–40% for customer meetings and site assessments
