Data Center Practice Leader

The Need 

• Goals of developing the Data Center practice of a well reputable and established design build firm in Texas.
• Seeking seller doer types of individuals who can either plug and play into practice leadership or take a step into leadership.
• Someone to take on responsibility of Business development, project development and practice leadership.
• Organic and sustainable growth using these individuals as leaders to then look to further develop the practice in time.

Background of Candidate

• Data Center – Preference to see someone with hyperscale DC exp. Someone with exp in business development and client relationship development. Demonstrable success in developing a mission critical practice whether as a sole leader or number 2 or as an up and comer.  Someone with exp having worked with studio leads and office/regional directors in setting market strategy and allocating resources.
  • Someone who can lead and develop a sustainable and profitable practice. In time to generate around $2M supporting a group of 10-12 in each area. This is the expectation over a 2-3 year period.
  • Expectation for someone who already has a senior role is that they can sell work and start generating results within 6 months. Someone who is growing into that role will be measured a little differently, but rest assured, they must generate results. We do not measure activity, we measure performance.
