Job Description: As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems that enhance our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our production lines operate efficiently and effectively, meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize automation systems for manufacturing processes.
  • Implement and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to improve process efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for automated systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide training and support to production staff on automated systems.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automation engineering within the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
  • Experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
  • Proficient in using CAD software for designing automation solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automation and manufacturing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with robotics and machine vision systems.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and IoT integration.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Project management experience.
