Resident Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality reviews of Construction Management (CM) team performance and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to contract documents and approved submittals.
• Review and assess the quality of Inspector Daily Reports.
• Oversee the quality of CM administration processes.
• Identify and document project risks.
• Manage the processing of contract invoices, shop drawings, RFIs, permits, change orders, and subcontractor approvals.
• Oversee project documentation tools, including relevant software.
• Coordinate with operating staff, including maintenance teams, to ensure facility operations are integrated into the project.
• Manage project scheduling, tracking of safety protocols, and facilitate project closeout.
• Oversee CM budget and staffing needs.
• Foster collaboration between the Owner, Engineers, Operators, and Contractors.
• Provide direct reports to Senior Construction Management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Professional registration (Prefessional Engineering License) preferred.
• Experience in Water/Wastewater projects is a plus.
