Land Development Engineering Team Lead

Here at Harper Harrison we have taken on a search for a Land Development Engineering Team Lead with experience managing project across multiple Maryland counties. This position is taking on the responsbility of leading the engineering team in their delivery across multiple Maryland counties where this client are considered a local expert. What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across Maryland for high-profile residential, commercial, mixed-use etc., clients.
• Oversee the financial aspects of project management, including writing contracts, creating proposals, and managing budgets to ensure projects remain on track and profitable.
• Represent the organization in presentations and meetings with local planning and zoning boards, demonstrating strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Guide and mentor a team of professionals, sharing your expertise in project planning, execution, and site design to ensure successful project delivery.
• Navigate the full project lifecycle, from initial scoping and planning through execution and closeout, while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

What You'll Need:

• Professional Engineering License in Maryland is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering.
• Proven project management experience, preferably in site development or construction-related fields.
• Practical experience with project management tools and civil engineering technologies (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) is a plus.
